The raw material of 12-Strand UHMWPE Rope is UHMWPE fiber. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a kind of unbranched linear polyethylene with molecular weight over 1.5 million. Molecular formula: —(—CH2-CH2—)—n—, density: 0.920 ~ 0.964 g/cm3. The thermal deformation temperature (0.46 MPa) is 85℃ and the melting point is 130 ~ 136℃. The surface hardness, creep, bending strength, thermal deformation temperature and so on can be improved by filling modified UHMW polyethylene. It has good wear resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, light resistance and other excellent properties. Due to its comprehensive and excellent characteristics, UHMWPE has shown great advantages in the high-performance fiber market, including mooring ropes and high-performance lightweight composite materials in offshore oil fields, and plays an important role in modern war, aviation, aerospace, coastal defense equipment and other fields.
